Experience Workshop

The Experience Workshop – Movement for the Experience Centered Education of Mathematics, started in 2008 in Pécs city (Hungary) as a collaborative effort of the worldwide known scientists, artists and educators of the Pécs – Ars Geometrica International Convention and Workshop.

We hold creative schooldays, artistic and scientific workshops and presentations for children, parents and trainings for teachers all over in Hungary. We present our professional results in conference-talks, journal articles and books.

In the last period on our programs more than 2000 students from primary, secondary and high-schools, almost 300 teachers and quite the same amount of parents took part.

The Experience Workshop was an official Hungarian event of the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue in 2008, and of the European Year of Creativity and Innovation in 2009.
